New Dispatcher

{"text":"I'm tied of wet nursing a new dispatcher not familiar with trucking.  This week he wanted to shut me down for 34 because I was getting low on hours.  I had 15 left for the week and my time off is already scheduled for this weekend.\n\nOh, and holidays really mess him up.  Now he's not sure he can get me home by Friday.  I'm 750 from there.\n\nLast week was just terrible.  On Friday he gets me a load that doesn't load until Monday.  It goes 250 miles to be delivered on Tuesday, and I cannot deliver early.  Then on Tuesday I get an 1800 mile load that delivers on Monday the 1st.  Our payroll cutoff is Saturday at midnight EDT.  So my week would've been just the 250 miles.  I was allowed to drop it at a terminal but that was only 1400 of the 1800 miles so I got a grand total of 1650 miles for the week.\n\nI've been with them for just six months but I'm already looking.  I usually work somewhere for years.  I like the work and I like the company but I don't know what else I can do.","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

{"replyTo":"","text":"dispatch in big companies have no problems. if something comes up you can just talk to their superior and itll be dealt with. Smaller company dispatchers seem to be all jerks and inconsiderate","replyToPid":0}
