{"text":"First things first. I’d like to thank everyone that contributes on this site! The knowledge has helped me overcome and save a lot of money with fixing my truck myself. Thanks everyone. I have a 07 Pete 379 with a Cummins 475 ISX (no def system). Got the truck a few months ago and has been running great. I noticed every now and again mainly when climbing hills my check engine light would come on then cut off immediately. When it came on, my boost gauge went from 20 psi up to 30-35 then back down to 20 psi when the light cut off. Now, the light is staying on and I’ve lost a lot of power. The truck almost crawls even when on flat terrain. I replaced the boost sensor that comes off the manifold thinking that was the issue but no. I just got a new fuel filter hoping that will fix something. I ran the diagnostic test and got 482 low fuel pressure. I’m trying to avoid taking the truck to the dealer if I can fix it myself. Any ideas? I check the fuel lines and saw no leaks or damage. Also noticed now that check engine light stays on I’m seeing white/black smoke coming out of stacks. I’m hoping it’s not the turbo but who knows. Any help would be great. Thanks drivers!","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
