{"replyTo":"","text":"Ok please realize that you do not have a solid grasp on where Technology is at in 2019. I don’t say that to be mean I say that to encourage you to research technology. I specifically gave a margin of 10-20 years. There are self driving cars being run by Waymo and the company currently has 8million miles of autonomous driving under its belt, Tesla has even more. SpaceX’s Falcon rocket platform launches and returns to land vertically near the launch pad in Cape Canaveral. HyperLoop is being developed in Nevada and Los Angeles to carry people and cargo in a near vacuum tube at 500+mph (that’s why I said it’ll replace trains). Boston Dynamics is developing robots to replace package handler that move boxes on the loading dock from pallets. We now use AI software to develop mechanical things because they can run through millions of designs and test them without ever making them in real life. Old fashioned metal forging is slowly being replaced with 3D Metal printing for intricate metal designs. AI systems have a higher success rate of detecting cancer in the human body so Radiologists will soon be phased out by a computer. The Electric Cars adoption curve is spiking at a faster rate than people who were actually pro Electric Vehicle expected. The Tesla Model 3, Model S, and Model X which are made in America have been selling so well that Ford themselves have stated that the future of their biggest seller, the F-150, is electric. Many other major car manufacturers like Volkswagen, Honda, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Rivian are either converting incrementally or fully to electric vehicles. Many Commercial Truck manufacturers have a secret Electric Truck they’re working on but they all try to keep their trucks styling which is by nature not aerodynamic. The Tesla Semi is by design more aerodynamic than a Bugatti Veyron with included horsepower pushing 1000hp thanks to 4 independent electric motors. There’s a reason trains are driven with DC electric motors, it’s not because they’re quite. It’s unfortunate but there will be more and more Luddites in the world. We will have to find another way to have purpose in our lives. The rise of automation is so relevant that Presidential candidates like Andrew Yang are proposing Universal Basic Income to compensate workers replaced by automation out of the profit gains companies receive from using robots. \n\nTesla Autopilot- https://youtu.be/m3-QzTFxoUg\n\nTesla Semi (100% Electric)- https://youtu.be/dP0vIH8r-tE\n\nSpaceX Falcon Heavy- https://youtu.be/HVqWEoyiaBA\n\nBoston Dynamic- https://youtu.be/5iV_hB08Uns , https://youtu.be/kHBcVlqpvZ8\n\nHyperLoop One- https://youtu.be/MU4LTv_eNgQ\n\nAI Radiology- https://youtu.be/xDgkmXAsvL8\n\nAI product Development- https://youtu.be/aR5N2Jl8k14\n\nMetal Printing- https://youtu.be/da5IsmZZ-tw\n\nF150 EV- https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a25933730/ford-f-150-electric-pickup-truck-confirmed/\n","replyToPid":0} |
