Is a WiFi booster than a hotspot?

{"replyTo":"","text":"wifi boosters are great if you are paying for wifi through pilot or ta and can't park close enough to get a good signal. lots of junk ones out there tho. buy a good one ($100+) and make sure it's directional. better transfer speed. just point it in the direction of the closest antenna.","replyToPid":0}
