I had a couple of friends who took a dedicated run -\"Not very many miles, you wont be running about 1800 miles per week and home on weekends so we'll base your salary on 2000 miles\".  The next thing you know those guys are running 3100 miles per week, getting home on Saturday afternoon and getting paid for 2000. When they mentioned it to management they were told \"You're on a dedicated run with a predictable schedule, so you should be happy\". They quit not long after but the company had two more guys on the run before the week was over, and so it went for a long time - a revolving door of new guys who kept getting fleeced.","replyToPid":0}

For the flat rate they have to be on the road for 3 weeks, and if tge driver doesn't get a reload because of his/her mistake (late for appointment,  overslept, etc...) he/she gets 50cpm on that week.
