going through NYC i95

{"text":"hi guys, so I'm planning on taking the I95 through NYC coming from Rhode Island Providence going to Montgomeryville in PA. trucker path suggested to take I95. I could use I84 but I like to take a glimpse of the city skyline. any of you guys have experience going that route? I'm aware of heavy traffic I'm willing to put up with it, since I don't know if I'll be coming back this way so it might be my only chance to see NYC. \nany advice or suggestions? safe to go down that way?","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}

{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"TP deleted my post because I called NYC bridge height laws...less than intelligent.🙄\n\nBe aware that NYC, and ONLY NYC, posts bridge heights about 3-5ft less than the true height (1-1.5m in Canadian 😁).  You can go thru NYC on I-95 but you WILL see posted bridge heights less than the height of your truck. Also be aware the bridge heights will go back to realistic with no warning when you leave."}
