Learn to feel the r.p.m. and speed of the truck watch the tach then after a little while it will flow (shift) freely. Being an operator is a \"feel\". The auto although my left knee appreciates it takes the operator out of the truck!\nAlso logs and mud and being in the bush is a different life compared to the other trailer truckin. {"replyTo":"","text":"don't really need to split the bottom half, I only had to do it once. I was comin off a side road turnin up a steep little hill on the hiway weighin 90k. Just regular drivin though no need for it. I would split the last on the low side, it just made a smaller jump to the high side.","replyToPid":0}
