{"replyTo":"","text":"I would equally blame greedy brokers. Today there was a Flatbed shipment originating from El Paso, TX, 46000 LBS, needed tarp. I called in TQL and they were paying $1800 for a 1600 miles trip. They said they did quit few of these shipments well under $1800. I hope someone starts a lawsuit and put these brokers back in their place.","replyToPid":0}

Loads that don't even cover their cost per mile.  You are right, brokers are a big part of the problem, they are making their profit even at $1,800 for a 1,600 mile trip. Even the mega carriers have their own brokerages. They keep the good paying loads, and leave the garbage. They've made it impossible for a small O/O to make a good living","replyToPid":0}
