{"replyTo":"","text":"My company provides a fridge and a 1500W inverter. There's a Microwave/air fryer/convection oven combo that's real popular, but it needs more than 1500 Watts. Using 1500 Watts is good for something with a straight coil, like a hot plate or coffee pot, but microwaves use a bit more power than the rated cooking power. I have a 700 Watt microwave, it uses 1100 to 1200 Watts, A 900 Watt would be pushing it I think. I bought a case/sleeve that is designed to carry a tablet or small laptop and I put the glass turntable in it when not in use. \n\nI have a small 12 volt travel fridge/freezer in addition to the truck's fridge.\n\nI've used a hot plate, air fryer and toaster oven, but keep it simple now. Fish and whole potatoes will cook well in the microwave. Other meats too maybe, but they won't look good. I eat a lot of fruit that doesn't have to be refrigerated. I don't do so well if I eat too much \"shelf stable\" food. \n\nI go to a Costco about once a week to stock up. They have a lot of individually wrapped frozen foods.","replyToPid":0} |
