Being Gone and Married

{"text":"I'm over the road, and get home at least twice a month\nBut I'm married and I'm a female driver. We talk off and on all day, But even when I'm home we talk every so often. Sometimes I want to put the TV and his phone on my forehead. I love him of course, and very seldom does he bring up me talking to other men. Can't help it, there are a lot of women but more men. He doesn't seem jealous but every so often he will smart something off. {"replyTo":"","text":"Nope.   I stay single to avoid that.   Don’t have to ask anyone anything and don’t have to prove anything either.   I talk to who I want.  \n\nI will say, be careful who you confide in about marital issues.    You and him are supposed to be a team and most people today seem to put that relationship behind all others.  Which is what he’s feeling, it seems anyways from what you said.  I’d highly suggest going local if he’s important.    Lots of $ driving local. {"replyTo":"","text":"Well Im not a women,but its seem to be the norm.. no matter female or male. Being in a relationship wirh a truck driver is not easy for either one. My experience was simular... on the road we seemed to talk alot more but home was a differant story(every little) not sure why... but the snippy comments... those alway start out small and than get more frequent and more intense accusation. you know you reassured tell them that you love them.. soon as that suspicion enters their mind and never seems to go away and eventually so does the relationship at least in my case it did. hell I'm home either every other night or for every night I'm just an agricultural driver I call bulk products from the farmer's field. {"replyTo":"","text":"Not an issue now nor an issue when hubby was OTR for three weeks at a time.  It's a trust as well as a respect issue. Maybe us being marrried prior taught us a few things but we learned that insecurities like that open the door to other potential issues so why even bother.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I Tran with my fiancé lord knows even in the truck we had issues still but it’s gotten a lot better , however I understand your career is at the forefront of your mind but do you think you can find work that maybe your home often ? You have to have work and home balance and that’s something we’re realizing now … we stay out 2/3 months before going home but I wasn’t happy I missed a lot of important family time , Birthdays ect but now for every week we are out it equates to a day off so we would run a few weeks to get more days off at home . Example we run 2 weeks we get 2 days of home time you have to figure out what’s more important and when this is your lively hood at times those decisions can make difference. He may not like you driving but won’t say nothing because he knows it’s something you wanna do just try to get home more often love . I hope it works out for you ","replyToPid":0}
