{"replyTo":"","text":"My Garmin broke, and I have 4 Rand McAnally collecting dust. IMO they are all pieces of junk, even the Tom Toms I've used. They are slow, so slow, I can't stand it.\n\nI switched to using my cell phone or tablet. There's Trucker Path, junk. Hammer, not bad considering it is free. Sygic, looks really good, but the interface for routing is unwieldy. Smart Truck Route 2 has some nice features, but you have to be connected all the time. I settled on Copilot. I used Trimble's PC miler (same company) a lot because I hated Garmin's and RN's routing, I'd shape the route on the gps depending on what PC Miler said, but, painfully slow. If you have a decent smartphone or tablet, the apps are a lot quicker. Copilot is $120 per year I think.","replyToPid":0} |
