I make 55 to 60 hours per week. \nI take home 1400 to 1300 home after taxes..\nsometimes more .\nthey hired me to do tanks and vacuums and go over the road \nwhere you make more money. \nhonestly I been local and doing roll off\nI don't like it. \nI have a friend working at Coal-City-Cob and another one working in Andrew's logistics. he is very happy \nhe is making 2000 per week in tankers. and I could make more as a owner operator. \nfoes anyone work at any of this two companies?  I would like to know how you like it. .\nI need to be able to take home 2k and plus with any of this 2 companies. Anyway, we don't take those jobs since it's easy enough for older human to do. \n\nBut you're all over the place. You're asking how people like working in those two companies, but have also said a bunch of other crap. Like, saying you could make more as an owner operator. No one can know if you're saying you can buy a truck or have your own truck. But at the same time, you've talked about a job with vacuum. So, either that's what you have or you took that job because you make more for them than working for yourself. Anyway, whatever it is you're looking for I hope you find it. If your goal is to work local in Houston or get home daily in Houston, you should know that pay is relevant to your experience. Simply having experience and a new endorsement with no experience behind it won't net you the best jobs. Now, I'm sure you have a profile on here but im not interested enough to look at it. I'm only going by the info provided here. \n\nHouston has tons of local jobs for containers. If you have no flat bed experience, then good luck. If you want to work company, jb hunt is one of if not by my opinion, the best out there.\n\nEdit: If all you want to know is how others view those two companies. Something tells me you don't trust your friends enough to come up with your own solutions. But I suggest talking with them more even if someone here has their own opinions of those two companies. One of them is based off Waxahachie, thats basically Dallas. If they have mostly dedicated jobs going to Houston and back, I'd do some math of my own that may lean more towards working for them. If those two companies are your only choices that is. But sorry for long winded comment. I really do hope you find answers."}

I want it to know if there was anybody here that works for this two companies.  I never said I don't trust my friends.  but I want it to hear from few more people. \nthat wasn't you.  \nI have only 15 years experience. driving \nI do work local for a good company. they just got me in to roll off and I hate it. \nthey do tankers and hazmat and that's my Forte. \nand I did filled out the application for Steven's logistics and I'm just waiting on the drug test. \nI decided to go work there. \nis been a while sense I don't work by the mile. \nbut it's ok. .\nI hope it's ok 0.75 cents per mile. \nloaded and empty. .\nplus 29 per hour if the job pays by the hour. \nbetter than nothing and is tankers only. \ntha KS for your comments. \nand hope I'll see you on the road. \nI'll be driving a new truck peterbilt. \nI have never drove a automatic transmission. \nI'm so used to a 13 speed. \nbut I'll be ok.","replyToPid":466166}
