The reason I ask is becuz sitting all day driving results in gravity to cause blood to pool and causes swelling. If the swelling doesn't exist when ur not behind the wheel all day then more than likely this is the cause. Lack of blood flow causes swelling.. However, if ur legs and ankles stay swollen all the time then there is cause to monitor ur blood pressure with a cuff you can buy at Walmart. Keep a log of ur readings and see if there is an elevation on a regular basis and if there is see your doctor and get evaluated for high blood pressure. {"replyTo":"","text":"Sounds like high blood pressure. Dr can give you meds to treat it, DOT legal too. Have to cut down the sodium intake for sure. Compression socks will help too,  but feet and ankle sweeling is usually a sign of high blood pressure and water retention","replyToPid":0}
