{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"I spoke to a couple mechanics at the mega company I used to be leased on with. In their fleet, they said the Freightliner has fewer problems overall than Peterbilt and Kenworth. In fact, there was a time when it was well known in our company that a particular Cummins engine model was having too many problems. Maybe it was a defect or a major recall. Who knows.\n\nThe other reason why I decided to go with a Freightliner is because it’s the most sold truck in the nation and the most popular among owner operators. There’s a higher chance that you’ll find common mechanical problems on YouTube and so you can replace them yourself. If your truck is rare like a Mack or Volvo, you might be out of luck and only find very few videos on YouTube. \n\nThink about this. What happened to the Kenworth T700 or the Peterbilt 587? They’re hardly on the road anymore."} |
