{"replyTo":"","text":"The fluctuations are normal. The temps when in continuous mode can rise a bit high (8 degrees off) right after finishing an automatic defrost. It’s normal. The reefer will throw a code if the reefer cannot bring the temperature to where it needs to be.\n\nProduce always uses continuous due to product respiration and frozen loads are generally safe in start/stop, but at the end of the day, you want to follow what the bills say, especially if the load comes with a temp recorder. The receiver can reject the load if they don’t like what they see in the recorder, although it’s never happened to me nor have I heard it happen. \n\nPersonally if there is no recorder on a frozen load, I put it in start/stop at night only. If the bills say zero degrees or below, then a start/stop of -10 will work. You can also ask the shipper if the load requires continuous or start/stop (assuming the bills don’t specify), but sometimes they do not know.","replyToPid":0} |
