{"text":"I sat and thought about how much the industry changed over the years since I got my CDL. Driving schools and training companies don't take the time like they use to when it comes to making quality drivers. Dash cams and omnitracks was unheard of in 1994..... Qualcomm was new technology then. Check calls and calling customers was part of the daily routine.... standing in line waiting for a phone at a TA or Flying J was normal unless you got a cordless phone from the waitress in the restaurant. Idle air an Park and View gave drivers the somewhat comfort of home.... giving a driver heat and a/c , a phone, and TV to watch as well as internet. Now apu's,smartphones, wifi, and tablets entertain a driver and let's them video call friends and family. Let's see how much more it changes in the next 5 years... be safe everyone !
