{"replyTo":"","text":"there is a couple places the oil can be going half of them bad; half of them no big deal! ! i have some trucks that dont drip one speck of a drop between 15,000 mile oil change ; and some trucks that have to be a half gallon of oil thrown in every 3,000 miles ! ! every truck is different ! the weigh stations are out &&&@ people with little rubbed on air lines or a brake outa adjustment and $&@@ people log books; meanwhile there are people who have no business behind the wheel of any vehicle (really) even a four wheeler when they dont have basic basic understanding (not saying every driver has to be a freakin mechanic) of the basics of the overall truck and engine and which repairs need immediate get off the road and fix; and which things you can baby it home on  ","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Tks larrybob, but it doesn't drip any oil out of the engine its  clean n I have driven my truck behind my friend's truck n don't see any smoking so I was checking to see if anyone has any ideas what else it could be."}

{"replyTo":"","text":"if there is NO. sweet coolant smell in your oil; and NO greasy oil residue in your coolant ; i would NOT worry about any oil USE  at all 2-4 gallons of oil per 15,000 miles oil change every single time i crank the engine after i sleep i check the oil; without a rag; rub it all in my fingers and smell for coolant sweetness; coolant check once before i leave the start of a trip; pit fingers in and check for greasiness oily residue feel ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"especially if you have zero loss of power and pulling ! ! i never do any looking or screwing around untill the cost of oil  per oil change is more than the cost of a search and rescue repair ! ! id have to be wasting $800 - $1200 in oil before i went and did some mystery worrisome phantom repair if i had no loss of power; no oil in coolant, and no coolant in oil! !  ","replyToPid":0}
