{"text":"Totally insensitive and inflammatory for PepsiCo to remove aunt Jemimah from their labeling. \n Mrs. Greene was a freed slave who was so popular in Chicago that she attracted huge audiences as a professional story teller. In my estimation she is a beautiful and monumental icon of true American spirit she was the first woman of color to become a model and Quaker paid her a fortune for her services as a marketer. Her subsequent wealth was substantial. She was extremely well respected and loved universally by all who knew her. Shame on PepsiCo to steal her legacy from her descendants and in an act of open racism, remove the image of the first African American female millionaire from the households of millions of American homes where she was universally recognized as an American icon of success. \n Share a COCA-COLA with someone you love ","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false} |
