I remember seeing fat slob truck drivers who were so heavy they needed a cane and were out of breath while loading up their plate at a truck stop with fries chicken and mashed potatoes. All Medicare Adavntage plans offer prevention like $0 gym memberships and $0 yearly exams and $0 vaccinations and $0 over-the-counter medicines/supplements.\n\nThe \"problem\" is, Medicare must be purchased at 65. If you don't, they will slap a Late Enrollment Penalty (LEP) on future premiums. And no, it's not a Democratic thing, the Part-D LEP was created by Republicans and signed by President GW Bush. If you're 65 and very healthy, take the bare minimum. Some plans even PAY YOU (aka rebate towards premium) to take their plan. For instance, my dad (he is going on 86) did not take Part-D when it was first offered in 2005-ish. He finally took it a couple years ago, so he has a lifetime penalty of $46/month.","replyToPid":0}
