{"text":"I was going to be three hours early for this delivery, so I pulled into a rest stop to take a nap. I set my alarm and plugged my phone to charge, placed it under my pillow and the phone turned off from over heating. Now I'm an hour late.\n\nThis is the worst feeling, I feel like I let everyone down. I feel like my credibility is ruined, I feel like my reputation is tarnished. I feel like I voted republican.\n\nCheer me up with your fucup stories. Because I know you're all worst than I am.","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}

953185 发表于 2020-04-26 18:13:54 and again...you have a very simple and visceral emotional reaction to a complex social issue. You feel that you worked \"hard\" and \"earned\" your position in society versus someone you see as not of equal value to your own children. Children do not control their lives. To fault a child for their inability to pay for their education is the same as faulting you for not being born of royal lineage.\n\nIf a child, through merit, as in getting good grades, shows their ability and interest for higher education, should be afforded the education, if we are to say that the system of economic and social mobility is fair. That's not the same as believing that school should be free for all, but that it should be free to those that \"earn\" it.\n\nWhich goes to the question, how can a child excel In school when there are many issues they have to deal with at home; hunger, drugs, crime, etc. A child born of a wealthy family has a tremendous advantage versus a poor child. That's why I support a universal basic income, so that all people have what we consider the bare minimum to survive so that their children have a fair opportunity to acquire wealth.\n\na UBI is not socialism. You're not taking money from the rich in aims of equalizing wealth. It's like leaving the last slice of pizza for someone else after you've had four slices.\n\nWhere we differ is our views of merit. You seem to think people work hard and are smart and that issue is not related to any other issues in life. I recognize that I am fortunate to have been born to a loving mother and father who worked tirelessly to better their lives and mine, and having the resources during my development helped me to grow physically and mentally. That in turn ensures that I make \"good\" choices. So my situation has nothing to do with my merit, it's a procession of events of circumstances, the chains of which probably started with the beginning of the universe.\n\nAnd although I do feel I work \"hard\", I know that other people work just as hard if not harder and they will never be as fortunate as I. But unlike you, I want a world with opportunity for all, not just myself and my immediate family.\n\nand one policy I know will help people make better decisions, absolute financial transparency in wages and salaries.

Know what will make you feel better? Nothing. Liberals live an unsatisfying life with small spots of happiness. Conservatives live satisfying lives with patches of darkness. I have no idea how to switch sides. I'm too happy to care, really. In conclusion: look forward to whatever afterlife you believe in & quit worrying about the load. especially when late fees don't come out of your pocket. Your bosses should give you garbage loads that only pickup & deliver late at night so you don't screw them up. And I'm glad because you won't be on the road when i am nor taking up a spot when i need one.

Liberals live happy and honest lives, it's conservatives that try to find gratification in denialism, and hence susceptible to hypocrisy.\n\nI pick late loads for that reason, everyone doesn't need to be on the road at the same time. There is the issue with the anatomical clock, but I'm pretty good at regulating that."}
