{"text":"just enjoyed Convoy on Prime. I remember seeing this at the drive-in w my dad at age 7. I was transfixed on the trucker lifestyle. Dad had a cb in his Lincoln and we use to have convos w drivers on our summer trips from SD to AZ to see grandparents. I learned how to drive on a grain truck following the combine in the field. Sat on phone books and cousins used bailing wire to attach blocks of wood to pedals so I could reach. officially trained in the Army as secondary mos 88m. \nThe road life is not for everyone. if you find yourself complaining more than being amazed at the scenery and freedom you possess you might want to find an easy job closer to home.  The rest of us will be grateful to hear something positive while getting our coffee and fuel. For me I am thankful to the old times who paved the way.
