Just 4000 pounds extra can push your stopping distance out 200 feet with smoking brakes because of extra heat. 5% doesn't seem much, but the engineering margins are tight on truck brakes. If you have heavy haul truck, have at it. Otherwise, lay back and be careful. An extra pallet or two of product isn't worth a driver's life."}
