{"replyTo":"","text":"If you can.... Equip your truck with everything you need to cook and hit Walmart when you can and you won’t have to rely on truck stop food. I’ve never eaten at a truck stop, except for the few times I’ve had Carl’s Jr or Del Taco, but other than that I cook in the truck. I have a mini frig, microwave, toaster oven, skillet pan and an instant pot. Between those things I make some dang good meals for me and my husband and we don’t have to worry about what kind of food they’ll have or if they’ll have food at truck stops. And it’s healthier, too. I’d say we spend about $250 on food (for 2 people) a month, but that’s at a grocery store, usually Walmart or Fred Meyer. If you’re on the road full time I think it’s important to have your truck set up to do as much as possible for you. For ease of living but also for your health, both physical and mental.","replyToPid":0} |
