{"text":"Okay peeplerz,\n\nI'll be in my own truck, in less than 2 weeks. (Yay!!, training almost finished!)\n\nI'm thinking about getting one of those little crock pots and one of them electric type skillets. \n\n1. Is clean up pretty easy?\n\n2. What simple recipes does anyone have, other than soups and stews, for the crock pot? \n(I'm more proficient with the skillet, so I'm good there.)\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Congratulations on the truck. Cleanup is easy. I have an instant pot and all I do is pour a bottle of water in it, squirt in some detergent, then pressure cook for 15 minutes. After that I scrub with a brush and rinse. Easy peasy. As for recipes, I like soups, stews, chili, pork roasts, and roast beef.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Cleanup is easy. I have an instant pot and when I wash dishes I pour water and soap in it, then on the “sauté” option and let the water heat up then I use the pot to wash all my dishes. A damp rag usually cleans the skillet good enough. I find the biggest hassle being having to get out and dump my water and then rinse my instant pot pot. But cleanup is easy, we cook in the truck every day and it’s not that big of a hassle. Spaghetti is super easy, I make homemade Mac and cheese all the time, cheesy broccoli rice is easy and delicious... I don’t cook with recipes so I don’t have any to share but plenty of sites out there have quick and simple recipes. I’d also suggest keeping your truck stocked with the basics: seasonings, broth, butter... stuff like that. When we run out of butter it’s dang near a catastrophe, can’t make grilled cheese or English muffins or anything! Good luck tho ","replyToPid":0}
