{"replyTo":"","text":"Company Driver vs. Lease Operator vs. Owner Operator vs. Own Authority; being a company driver has the advantage of less risk and alright compensation. Lease op is good for owner operators wanting the support of a company and the compensation is usually as good or better than company drivers. This varies by lease and freight availability etc. Owner operators with paid off equipment, as you’d be when your lease was paid off and title in hand, have more flexibility and income depending on freight availability but the risk level is the same as a lease operator. Own Authority, this one has the highest risk with no company support to lean on so you have to be bank rolled. If you want to grow a company this is your first step toward that goal. If you can secure a contract with a shipper then you’ll be doing well. Finding solid drivers to fulfill this contract is key and they must be secure and taken care of if they’re solid. Growing a company is a lot of work but the rewards are worth it if you want to be financially independent. Good luck in whatever endeavors you choose! ","replyToPid":0}

I make 1200 a day. but since u drive for them. please remember never ever under any circumstances put your truck in the left lane. if someone is broke down on side of rd. pull in behind them. they are making better time than you.","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"you can lease trucks where I'm at, they're expensive as hell. About 1200 per week for everything but fuel but you can gross 10k consistently and get 78 percent","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"And You gotta know what ur fixed cost is every week What ur lease is every week including insurance and whatever else u have been deducted including healthcare or retirement funds or etc what will be taken out every week as Like Mine was $1200 a week sooo I knew that I had to gross over $1200 a week plus also how much Fuel you add into as well and write down in a book what everything pays for every trip and week total and then add your fuel and your fixed cost and then subtract from your gross and every week Your pay will roughly come out correctly and u might be on your totals with extra funds due to the give you fuel discount Soo it changes from one place to another Just to keep in mind ","replyToPid":0}
