What is there to consider? Solutions have to be found to problems. I'm not an engineer or physicist or chemist, but I am certainly willing to let them work on the solutions. Your Neanderthal argument of "it's always been this way. Fire bad. Walking upright bad" has never benefited anyone or anything.
Generally I don't waste time with individuals like you. I find it as pointless as engaging with a toddler about the merits of vegetables vs. Oreos at dinner time.
Now you can throw in another weak effort to describe liberals as intolerant of stupidity or whatever is likely to originate from your repertoire of orangutan insights.

","text":"He was abrupt but looking at the problem. If we jump in, we need to consider points like his. He is right that batteries are environmental nightmares. It has taken 50 years to get a solid lead acid battery recycling regime going. If we go EV without planning, it will be several orders of magnitude worse in volume. Worse, without recycling the EVs have a carbon footprint worse that gas or diesel. Now, you are right too. We cannot keep on the same path. So, instead of dealing with the problem, everyone screams and cat calls. Never once acknowledging that you both have valid points. There must be change. It must be thought through. If we don't, we get either no change or too rapid a change."} |
