But this year 2020, I have no definite idea how much it gives as I started 8 years ago. \n\nSome truckers here who just started and want to share an average? 856470 发表于 2020-01-05 16:16:40 I just hit my one year mark in November and after taxes I pulled in 90k. Now that being said I can count on one hand the number of calls I turned down. Also there were a few runs that were tight on time but I definitely don’t feel like I was killing my self either. One more thing I make .55 a mile.

{"replyTo":"","text":"It really depends. Not all driving jobs pay the same. For example You have drivers paid by the hour, per mile and percentage. I have been paid all 3. I know this isn’t the answer you were looking for but it’s something for your friend to keep in their mind. Also in my opinion every Recruiter is just looking for a warm body to fill a seat.","replyToPid":0}
255377 发表于 2020-01-05 08:44:42 National average is 43,680 according to bureau of labor statistics. Most companies pay at least 40 cpm. Multiply by 125 k miles a year = 50k. Minus taxes etc. 35 net maybe if you’re frugal. 700 a week take home. Walmart starts their drivers at 87 k a year with regular routes. So if you’re a driver and you are not bringing home 1500 a week after taxes just sign up for Walmart but don’t quit your current job until Walmart calls you, may take several weeks. I’m sure their turnover is low. Good luck

","text":"So is it $700 a week or $1500 a week? I also run 455 cents a mile and my bring home per run is little under $3000. Which takes me anywhere from 8 to 12 days.","replyToPid":297832}
