{"text":"I have been setting here at the TA for a day waiting on parts for my trailer and a TA employee came round and was talking to a Hotshot driver. After the employee left I got out and ask the guy what was going on. \n I know how some drivers feel about hotshots but they are out here to make money too. They runs under DOT reg., they are almost as long as a big rig and to boot they pay the same for their fuel just like everyone else. I have no problem with them. I would rather see one of them in a spot than a dropped trailer or a bobtail, but’s just me some disagree. \n Anyway the driver was ask to leave after he just payed for fuel and something to eat in the store. To me this is just not right. This is the first for me to hear this and the driver said that this is the first time he was ever told that. TA will take his money but want let him park. I bet if he got a reserved spot they would let him. Has anyone else ever been told they could not park at a truck stop? I think I am going to call corporate for the guy, I think this is just wrong. He was out of hrs and made to move from a clearly marked spot and there is no signs on the property saying now hotshots. This guy is one of us.
