{"text":"Monday is the deadline for drivers still using AOBRDs, or automatic on-board recording devices, to record their hours of service to change over to an electronic recording devices.\n\nAfter Monday, Dec. 16, drivers using AOBRDs can be placed out-of-service for violating federal regulations.\n\nWhen the ELD mandate went into effect in December 2017, motor carriers using AOBRDs before the final rule’s effective date were grandfathered in for two years.
