{"text":"I have a 1998 4964FX Western Star and the temperature control doesn’t work. This truck doesn’t have the knobs to turn but has the slider that goes left and right. The temp slider is connected to what looks like a reostat that has 2 wires attached to it. There is no valve on the heater hoses, they go directly from the engine to the heater core. Does anyone know how this system is supposed to work? I’m only familiar with the systems that use a cable to turn on and off a valve in the heater hose to regulate temp.","pics":"[]","canComment":null}
