Pre 2000 model engines lack the hardware to communicate with the eld and will always be exempt. Thus, pre 2000 engine equipped tractors have been more expensive than usual for several years. ","text":"they won't be exempt forever. the powers to be that know nothing are in fact working on an eld system that hooks up behind the ignition switch with just two wires. as soon as you key on the truck it starts recording. that's some time off right now. No no they are not. only Agricultural fails in that category. if you run into a DOT officer that knows anything he will fine you. already had it happen to my brother. in his driveway. was followed off the highway 5 miles to his place and then inspected and fined in the driveway.","replyToPid":266847}
