{"replyTo":"","text":"Well, I’ll take a stab at this. Like a lot of movie plots, real life is not so simple, black & white, hero verses villain thing. In the classic trucker movies, truckers are portrayed as renegade cowboys who do all sorts of crazy things that are funny and entertaining. \n\nIn real life of course, it’s more mundane. Professional drivers come from all walks of life, from collage educated, country boys, urbanites, and people who found a way to escape the poverty of the ghetto. We all have one general objective; to earn a living out on the road. But like in movies, there is drama on occasion, as things can go badly really quickly. Long haul trucking is not only a career, but also a lifestyle, a lifestyle that is not suited for most people. \n\nI hope this answers your question. ","replyToPid":0} |
