Sh!t isn't funny to me but it's always funny to the sorry a$$ drivers until they hurt or kill someone. You don't take your jobs or responsibilities as professionals serious. Such a waste of road space. I have family and friends that have to share the road with 🚮 a$$ drivers like y'all and it's a scary thought.

I have pissed off lot of drivers like you on road. I wish I had 13speed or 10 speed manual .

But you know what, if speeding truckers were so smart they'd be able to do simple math and figure out that we will end up at the same place give or take 5 to 8 mins depending on how long they're able to keep up at that same rate of speed. Lol. Some of us do drive trucks for the lifestyle, some so it for fun, some do it to feed families, and some do it because they just couldn't cut it in smarts category.","replyToPid":224865}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I think , in my opinion as far as my experience if I was day cab guy who work from morning till evening and go home at night , speed wouldn't matter that much. but honestly man , doing 63 instead of 75 from east coast to west coast or even from texas to california  it makes a big difference in time . I am saying this because I am team driver and we have some loads that are 3000 plus miles and 75mph could have saved me lot of time and I calculated it once . I could have squeezed one extra 1500 mile load in my whole 8 day clock if I had 75mph truck. issue with 63mph is not just the speed but also not being able to get in an out of red lights sometimes because truck wouldn't catch up speed faster from zero . if I am in town I can never pass yellow . it always red for me . 😃placed like california where I drive  in traffic that type of transmission is just not working for me . when I was on manual I was doing great. \nI mean calculation all comes down to simple:  miles driven / MPH = time . \nso if you calculate 2000mile load/63mph=31.74 hours and same load with 75mph it comes in 26.66 considering doing same amount of 30 minute breaks added to it difference still remains the same . \nso 5 - 8 minutes like you are mentioning  might be on the shorter runs . \nI am also not driving for fun. I am driving to make a living. \nBTW high speed does cost some extra diesel but it's really not take over the time loss for \"ME\". might be diffrent for you I suppose.","replyToPid":0}
