Single axle drives

{"text":"So new to otr. Second truck I got was a '16 Freightliner Cascadia single drive axle. Good tire depth. First day got stuck in 1\" of soft gravel at mom/pops. Even dropped suspension and used granny gear. nothing.  Got towed to dock. Extremely embarrassing. Same week got stuck in my own driveway. Slight incline. Luckily I have a tractor. My concern is how do these single axle drives fair in bad weather? Wont even light snow be dangerous? Please pass on your experience.
