{"text":"An Alabama-based CDL training academy owner has been indicted for his role in falsifying U.S. Department of Transportation exams, according to federal court documents. A Georgia CDL examiner pleaded guilty for his role in the scheme.\n\nOn July 17, James Welburn, owner of Lee County, Ala.-based J&C Truck Driving School, was charged with eight various counts for falsifying DOT exams. According to court records, he has pleaded not guilty.\n\nOperating under the name American Truck Driving Academy, Welburn’s course was a three-week training school to obtain a CDL.
