","text":"Its not about the decibel or noise level... the pitch of a refer can easily penetrate a sleeper a truck over when in high idle mode. cycle century is notorious for it. when I hauled reefer, id set it to continuous that way it remained in low idle throughout the night,  and was less disruptive to others...","replyToPid":201453}

","text":"it is run on diesel. but it's a smaller engine that run on different cycles than the bigger truck engines. like a car engine different than a motorcycle.  the engine goes on a higher pitch when reefer is cooling a frozen load or running on defrost.\n also the stop start cycles wakes up some Drivers.","replyToPid":201453}
