{"replyTo":"","text":"First you must have 8 on SB to start a split-technically DOT doesn’t care if it’s off duty or SB, but the elog DOES. That 8 hours pauses the 14. You then get the remaining hours on your 11/14. Let me give you an example:\nOn duty 0600 PTI\nDriving 0615-12:15 (6 hours 15 minutes used up on the 14 leaving 7:45/14 available)\nSB 12:15-20:15 (8 hours to pause the 14)\nIn this example I’d have 7:45 left on my 14, and 5 hours of driving time.\n20:15-20:30 PTI \n20:30- 01:15 driving \n01:15-01:20 Post trip\n01:20 -03:30 SB (I’ve now completed my split, BUT I only have the original time I drove available to me until I take my full 10) \nHours available are now 6 hours driving time and 8 on my 14. \nYou continue to roll the time this way until you take a full 10 hour break at which time you regain the full 11/14 again. Hope that helps clarify ","replyToPid":0} |
