I know this question gets asked millions\nof times and I apologize for not looking up older threads but a\nfew major things have changed as Mega's are now doing away\nwith training on Standard Trucks and are going the auto route\nwhich means a restricted CDL or half a license and they are still\nquoting prices which were for road testing on a manual truck.\nI went thru a lot of reading and was not able to be certain if a\nplace I wanted to train/work at would provide training in a\nmanual transmission.\nThe way to get the restriction removed is by going to another\nroad test, which would be time consuming and costly because\nafaik a day off per week of work or similar schedule of not\nknowing when I could get days off to schedule a appointment\nmight be very difficult.
