{"text":"  There's a saying - just cause you own a gun doesn't make you a soldier. Likewise just cause you have a CDL doesn't make you a Driver. Here's the 1st of 2 examples of how a Driver thinks differently than some scrub with a CDL.\n\nI'm a Moneymaker. If I can put in a few hundred extra miles by driving late in to the night then that's what I do. Every extra mile I drive today is a mile closer to my next trip. The scrub says \"but how will you park?\" My answer: with my wallet. At the start of my shift I pick where I'll be stopping. Then I open the truck stop's app and reserve a spot. The scrubs are horrified by paying for parking. That's why they're scrubs. If you invest ($12-$18) for parking and drive an extra 200 miles  at 40cpm that's $80 at 50cpm it's $100.\n\nThere's a lot things that separate a Professional Driver from someone who just holds a CDL. But it all comes down to mentality.
