{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"Unless you were over bridge length and beyond the 41’ mark or going to California where the tandems have to be all the way forward you refused a legal load. The center of your rear axle group needs to be at or forward of the 41’ mark to by compliant with any state requiring it. Before your next load, slide you’re 5th wheel one hole back to take weight off the steers but never touch it after that. I never move my 5th and you shouldn’t have to with only 77k gross. The fact that the CAT scale gains 700lbs between weightings is suspect but that’s the beauty of a certified scale, they fight your ticket if they’re wrong. 12/34/34, isn’t the case in all states. That’s why you need your RMcNalley commercial carrier atlas. There are two or three pages in the front that break down state weights. "} |
