Question about Days Off

Today his dispatcher asked why he always takes 3 days off, to which my husband replied that that's how it has been at every other company he has driven for bit if it was a problem we could change it. Dispatcher said they didn't mind, but lots of companies only allow one day off per week on the road. {"replyTo":"","text":"I'm with Pam, they say 1 week, 1 day off with minimum of 2 weeks out.  I stayed out for a month and took 3 days and the dispatcher acted all confused like I wasnt supposed to do that.  now, I just stay two weeks out, not making any money with them anyway","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Rule of thumb is for every week out equals 1 day off which is completely stupid. I go out 3 weeks and take a week off because I run myself. But when I ran for a company that was selfish and didn’t care about anyone as an employee I finally made the leap of faith and started my own company. Best decision I’ve ever made. Now I decide where I go and what I do. And time off when ever I want. Don’t let these a$$ hole companies push you to hard. ","replyToPid":0}
