{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"I do nearly all repairs and maintenance on my truck/trailer. You MUST lift the axle off the ground when greasing king pins. If not, the grease doesn't make it all the way around the pin inside the bushing. I don't just grease either. It's all part of an inspection I do. Relying on others to go over your equipment with a scrutinizing eye can be problematic. Nobody does as good of a job as I do. It's not theirs so they don't care. I even wipe off all zerks with a rag first too. Stops all that crud from being injected into the part your greasing. How many times have you seen a tech do that on your truck?"} |
