And there were 1800+ tractor trailer accidents in 2017, that’s a small number considering the trucks on the highways. Yet, someone without training or experience can drag there camper across the country without any laws and they seemingly don’t have to obide by the same speed limits that we do. ","replyToPid":0}

Granted there’s room for your fuel/pit/load/unload but in 8 days you might get 8 hrs a day driving to continue to run unless you get a 5 day run with no reload/load. Or you’ll have a short day, (which are nice). And we can’t stop our clock after sitting for 6 hours at a customer? Granted we can’t spend those 6 hours in the bunk, but let us decide if we need rest. You are a driver that runs his 70 and not works there recap and you simply can’t say hire adults to do an adults job","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I think they should put the 30 in the 14 and not the first 8. I have had to stop for a 30 minuet break about 20 miles before I was finished for the day. I should have made it to the truck stop in my 8 but road construction messed me up. Ended up missing the last three parking spots because the 30.","replyToPid":0}

I did environmental work for a long time and had many weeks with more than 100 hours. No federal government regulations are in place for that but it’s just as dangerous.","replyToPid":0}
