People only  treat you how you allow them to treat you, Regardless I feel there are ways to deal with it tough it out, Or do or say something about it to your boss, Because if that's how it is now, It's probably going to get worse, Not all people are fighters, But at least stick up for yourself! I would rather look for a new job and walk away with my self respect. Bully's only pick on people who allow then to do so. You should have nipped it in the A$$ from the very first time he started with his BS. My trainer tried that Sh!t with me and I told him to pull the truck over, Long Story short Set him STRAIGHT he had a whole different out look, Didn't even had to chin check him. So it's up to you.
