{"text":"Whats up drivers  as my engine is getting old 992646 miles lately I’m having issues with my oil pressure is low  my engine oil temp is high and I’m loosing coolant ...... so first i was thinking to rebuilt do            in-frame  its gonna cots me 16 k maybe more and i will have 100000 miles warranty or 1 year  whichever comes first or i can put a reman engine witch costs about 18 k plus swapping- the engine and stuff something like 2009 -2012 models or i can buy brand new x15 engine for 25 k plus swapping the engine i don’t know how much would swapping costs  \nI will love to hear your ideas im most likely will put a new engine because i see alot of people have  issues with there rebuilts   Oh yeah and does anybody know how much would it cost to swap the old engine with new one how much labor would it be ? {"replyTo":"","text":"First off if you have cash your ok. If you don't have cash getting financed on a truck that old where the engine repair cost more than the value of the truck.. You 'll have an almost impossible time finding financing.. I know first hand on this issue. Whatever money you have use it as a down payment on another truck.. A X15 swap isn't a option unless you have money to burn. the harness and complete regime system would need to be changed to a new x15 system and don't forget the ecm and modules would all have to be changed... Hard to find one that's been all done. But there out there. You'll have a more dependable truck. I got a 07 with rebuilt engine and reman trans and I did the diffs a year later... I'm rooster cruisin now!! left lane train!!"}
