{"replyTo":"","text":"Not a chance. I watch what is done and ignore what is said. I despised him in the 80’s because he was a foul loathsome troll and he hasn’t changed a bit. Unemployment is down because people have run out of benefits, not because employers are hiring more people. He’s trying to instigate WWIII and he said during his campaign (paraphrased) war is good for the economy. He’s also been extremely disrespectful to POWs claiming he doesn’t like people who got caught. I mirror-in a sense- his immigration stance, but my response as a Native American is when do all these illegals get off our land? I’m a direct descendant of Chief Powhatan of the Powhatan tribe.\nI’m also Cherokee. My fiancé is Chickasaw. Both my grandfathers fought in WWII to stop America from being taken over by elitists and mob mentality, yet here we are. My grandmother was in the BRAF and fought in WWII as well. In all reality though the president is only a figurehead. The power lies in Congress, not the presidency, but so many fail to see that and only focus on the face guy. If you’re unhappy with the way the country is being run, pay far more attention to local and congressional candidates running for office and what they stand for. Make sure their beliefs align with your own. I have several friends and family members that support him, but I never will. His beliefs don’t align with mine, so I didn’t and won’t vote for him. I support Johnson because he’s got a proven track record of actually doing something to improve lives of his constituents. He lowered illegal immigration while increasing legal immigration by helping those with expired Visas-the most common way someone is here illegally- to correct the issue and regain legal status. That kept the tax revenue coming in from the payroll taxes and sales tax and restored confidence in America being a land of immigrants working together and fulfilling the American dream of a better life. I don’t need to defend my political beliefs and I dont expect others to defend their beliefs. We’re all different and we’re all entitled to vote for the candidates we believe will do the best job. I’m never going to change my opinion on Trump, so if you support him that’s fine but please don’t try to change my mind. He’s done nothing to help this country or our image. From what I’ve seen-actual legislative action- he’s only reinforcing the worldwide beliefs that America is a bully and will do everything to Americanize the rest of the world, or attempt to make all others conform to our standards and way of life. As far as I’m concerned, if it’s not posing an immediate threat to home soil we have no business having troops anywhere else. It’s NOT our job or our place to station our men and women in a conflict that is ZERO threat to American citizens. In fact, America created the Taliban when we interfered. Not only did we arm Bin Laden, but we trained him and his men how to fight. Had we not interfered global terrorism would likely be a much smaller threat. Trump perpetuates this belief by befriending people like Putin and Kim Jong Un. He’s just too dense to see he’s been outwitted and in the game of chess he’s getting us check mated by our enemies while alienating us from our allies. It’s bad posturing and maneuvering. Time will tell, but no I don’t support him and will not vote for him. ","replyToPid":0} |
