{"text":"Hello all,\n\nLet me preface this by saying that I’m only 25. I got my class B when I was 23. Eventually worked my way to a class A this past November with a mega carrier. I run hard. I never turn down loads. Even the shitty ones. Fast forward to today, almost done with my first 30,000 miles, and I must say: I’m pretty shocked at how little OTR drivers, and class A drivers in general make. As a class B driver, home everyday, I was making around 700-1000 per week. I expected a big jump in pay once I went OTR and sadly that is far from true. \n\nI guess the point of this post is to ask: with the little experience I have what should I do? Is there a company that will take me and my experience and pay me more? Should I wait a year or 6 months? ","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
