What are the things that you should learn before becoming an owner/operator?

{"replyTo":"","text":"I just started as a owner operator everything on here theses guys are say is true, I finally stepped back into trucking part of it I was hauling for oilfield companies I don’t recommend it it’s very inconsistent,  I am leased on but I do believe if they could afford to get your own authority right off you can pick what you haul is best!
