{"replyTo":"","text":"I’m a newbie. 3 months into the job and fortunately an experienced FRIENDLY driver told me (after watching me awkwardly back into a parking spot 5 times) that I should get a CB.  I wasn’t going to before but I did afterwards.  He was right.  So is Joketrucker. There are days I have it on but don’t need to say nothing.  ...and there are days when I need to know what’s going on around me and the CB can do that.  Sure, there are idiots everywhere and some of them have CB’s and broadcast their “depth of knowledge”. The good out weighs the bad here unless you are a true loner, like LastKansasExit.  Besides, some of my drops only have CB communications while waiting in line. \nAs for a “handle”, most folks don’t use them.  I chose mine because of who I work for, how slow my truck is limited to, and who doesn’t enjoy a good double entendre! \nP.S. Like LastKansasExit I left regional banking and business operational analysis to do something different.  ...but no matter what you do it involves people.  Communication is essential to our species.
