What is this light and why is it on!!!!

{"text":"Hi, I currently work for a small company out of Chicago OTR. The owner is very poor at maintenance, I have been having this light pop up along with the check engine light and I don't know what it means. It seems to be more common when I have a heavy load, when it is on I cannot use cruise control. To make it go off usually I have to turn off the power switch and sit for 15 min or so but that doesn't always work. The boss always says it's nothing, well it's obviously something! I have a Freightliner cascadia evolution 2014 with 323,000 miles and it is an automatic. The light looks like a truck climbing a hill circled with a line through it exactly like the HSA OVRD switch picture but I push it and it doesn't take the light off. {"replyTo":"","text":"being an automatic, I'm going out on a limb here and say that the hill start assist isn't working properly. automatics use an assisted 'hold' function while on a slope so you dont roll while moving your foot from one petal to the other. ","text":"The Hill assist most drivers pull the fuse to it because its AAF. CHECK FUSES ON DIAGRAM. Im guilty of disabling it. If it is really broken only Freightliner has the Hardware to diagnose it and charge around 3k or more to replace it.","replyToPid":5802}

{"replyTo":"","text":"This is correct, It is a hill climbing assist on automatic transmission This prevents the truck from rolling backwards, Do not disable this, It will cause your truck to roll back and probably cause an accident on the car behind you as, A lot of cars pull up really close behind Us. It is  And your Cruze  Controll will not work while it is activated but if a Check engine light comes on that is a separate problem. Hope it helps","replyToPid":0}
